Degrassi a show about kids that are very different in many ways.The kids have problems like drug usage, pregnancy, peer pressure, murders, cancer,school, homosexuality,sports, injuries, racism, mourning, etc.A teacher at La academy says that no kid under 7th grade should watch this show.Degrassi has mature topics that parentsshould discuss with their kids and things that children shouldn't try.The students have mishaps at Degrassi high school and they try and fit in to different social classes. Degrassi is a very interesting show because it's informing teens on what to avoid in high school. If it does happen how to cope with those problems. The old characters are Paige, Liberty, Spinner, Manny, Emma, J.T., Alex, Hazel, Jimmy, Toby, Derek, Jay, Ashley, Craig, Terri, Elli, Danny, Marco, Sean, Mia, Damian. The new characters from the new season are Jane, Blue, Declane, Fiona, Connor, Leia, Kelly, Alli, Sav, Johnny, Clare, Darcy, Anya, Bruce, Connor, K.C., Jenny, & Dave. These are all the character that go through peer pressure and how they survive the social stress and deaths. There is an episode where 1 of the characters gets pregnant and have to figure out what to do when she has a child. And Mia another another character has a child and she has to deal with the father not being there most of the time and he's the brother of 1 of her friends. In the new series of Degrassi the friend of Mia who's brother is the father of Mia's child if having a problem of her own when her father returns and she begins to have flashbacks of her child hood and question her relationship she had with her dad. Spinner has found out he has cancer and figures out how he's gonna deal with it. Much more problems happen through out this series in which teen have social and family issues and how they sort this out in school among their classmates. The students at Degrassi high are very entertaining on some episodes. A brand new episode came out on Saturday when Alli goes out with Johnny and he doesn't want to show PDA and she refuses and so to make sure he agrees with her sends pictures of herself but you will have to watch it to see what kind of pictures. Then Johnny gets made and sends the pictures to everyone in school.
