Odd Animal Of The Week

Climbing in too this odd animal of the week is the aye-aye. It's this weeks odd aniaml because it looks like a bunch of different body parts. Even though its a primate it dosen't look similar too us humans. Too form this odd lemur you will have too get the head of a rodent and the ears of a bat. Combine this with the tail of a fox, the hands of a witch, and finally the body of a monkey. Together you will get the oddest primate of them all, the aye-aye. This nocturnal lemur can be found in a place called Madagascar. In 1780 when a naturalist first dicovered the aye-aye they classified it as a strange species of squirrel. Even though the aye-aye 's body part collection seem strange you won't think of that when you it hunting. The aye-aye use's it bony middle finger too open up wood. It does this too get the grubs in it and it has no problem opening wood up because it has teeth like a beaver. This primate is very shy so keep an eye on it if you search for it. No Child Left Behind needs all public schools to make a state-wide standardized test. All students take the same test under the same conditions annually to all students. In other words LONG BORING TESTS FOR EVERYONE! and it was signed by President Bush! If the school's results are repeatedly poor, then a series of steps are taken to improve the school. If the the school is requiring "corrective action," which involves actions like the replacement of all the staff, introduction of a new curriculum, or extending the amount of time students spend in class. On a NCLB-mandated test, a group of blind students had their scores cut out (reported as zeros) because the testing rules did not specifically allow for test readers to speak. And they needed the readers to speak or else they won't know what the test problem is! NCLB's focus on math and english language skills that taking away physical education in school, and that has helped levels of childhood obesity rise.

Homework. WOW! were do i begin with this tedious deed. Home work is know a very huge part of our school work.Whether its good or bad its up to you.
Me personally i think homework can be a tad bit annoying at times espeacially when i have way better things to do. i mean come on. and yes i know that doing homework is very benificial, i really get that idea. its work that you do at home,so you are able to practice what you learned earlier at school.But lets get back to the real question, Homework Hero or Vilian?
Home work can be the villian to many students. one because many kids dont do it, and therefore they get in major trouble with there teachers.It makes them look very irresponssible and lazy. i mean you might be a lazy person but it dosent mean you want to show it.
Home work can be the hero to many teachers. its a very easy way for them to know what they can help you with. Its also there personal way to know your practicing previous lessons.Its quite sneeky Action.No offense to teachers. i love you all.

It's called Marked. Again, not about people with markers.It's about a high school student who goes from being a fledgeling vampire to an adult vamp,that is if she can make the change.If she cant make the change she will die a very real and permanent death.Appearently though the vampire godess, Nyx,the personification of night, has chosen her to take this really snobby girl's place as high priestess-in-training ,to right the wrongs in her school.Will she be able to take the challenge? Odd Animal of The Week

This weeks odd animal can only be found in the defths of the ocean. Coming in in too this weeks odd animal is the angler fish. This fish is this weeks odd animal because it has an odd way of mating. The female angler fish is ten times bigger than the male angler fish. The male angler fish has too bite the female angler fish and morth with it. When the male angler fish attaches too the female it releases an enzyme that digests the skin and mouth of the male angler fish and the body of the female. This causes them too fuse too blood- vessel level. Which then leaves nothing more but a pair of gonads of the male. When the female's hormones response indicating egg release the male gonads release sperm. This means when the female angler fish is ready to have eggs it already has a mate inside of her. When scientists began too study this fish they decided too capture some of the angler fish. Later on they found out that the angler fish they captured were all female and found remains of the male angler fish on the female! That concludes this weeks odd animal. California Sci. Center Field Trip

The trip to the science was for the students that had an A or a B in Ms. Nguyen's science class. Also some 8th grades in AVID also attended the trip. At the Science center first we explored the college USC and a teacher from last year gave us a tour who is do extra classes at USC, Ms. Kim. We went into some libraries and we seen the computer lab they have there which is huge. After the tour we ate some lunch. Some of the students thought that the field trip was awsome while others thought that there was no way that they would come book. There was a Mcdonalds and there was a gift shop at the Science center.TRY going there if you have extra time!!!!

Weekly Book Review

HI! I'm Alma! this is my very first article writing alone so please keep that in mind while you read. I'm going to give you a review of most of the books in the library.
The first book I'm writing about is the series The Mortal Instuments' first book The City of Bones. So, no, The City of Bones is not about people wandering around in a graveyard. The book is about a seven-teen year old girl named Clary who unexpectedly starts seeing three teenagers who are some-what close to her own age.They saw that they're Shadowhunters and that it's they're sworn duty to hunt down and send demons back to their own dimensions. Clary thinks their all crazy until her mother disapears the night after she meets the three.After that night Clary finds herself stuck in a world that exists in secret to "mundies" (A.K.A. Mundanes or just regular people). She finds out loads of things about her mother,Jocelyn, and about all Shadowhunters' enemy, Valentine.she discovers secrets her moyher kept from her and from Shadowhunters everywhere.
Read it! You will be amazed!

Letting Go OF....

Theres a point in your life where you can't look back and in order for you to move on you have to learn to LET GO....
It's not the easiest thing to learn. Yet, I don't guarentee you that you won't cry. Sometimes people say your dreams are to big for
you to accomplish. I bet that is probably one of the biggest lies in THE WORLD. Seriously. Of course whatever you want to be in
the future is your decision,but there shouldn't be a limit. In fact, every person who tries to stop you from what you want to be
is a person who is full of jealosy. You probably might be thinking "Jealouse of WHO?me?!no way..." but its true more than true. And
because lets say, you consider that person your friend or your bestest buddy in the world, you let them stop you. Then you dont
get a job or if you do a CRAPPY one, you most likely still live with your mom or rent a place in who know's where eating left over
pizza from last week! NOW COME ON!!! Do you honestly want to live like that!?
The fact is there are 2 types of friends:
A:the friend who cares about you. And know's you well enough to stop you from doing something stupid to ruin your life.
OR
B: The one who INFERS to be a "friend" who says they care about you and a bunch of other crap but dont.What they really are, is
a person full of non-sense and hatred, who is jealouse of your potental and life. Most importantly they dont care whatever you are as
long as they are first and you are last.
Now you got to understand that only because you THINK they are your friends it doesnt mean they are.And I promise you that like
I said you will cry.I bet you're like "WHY would I cry?" Well, i know that losing a person you thought was your friend isn't something
you'll forget. You most likely have a past, or memories. with them. You just think it isn't happening but its reality. But later in life you
won't regret letting that person go. Because now you dont have her/his doubt in your head. You dont have someone nagging you to
stop saying or thinking of being a doctor,an army soldier,or an actor,anything you want to be i dont know I'm just guessing. The
point is,that whenever something is stopping you if its either a problem a person a object or watever it is, i got three words for you

Since 1992, a Canadian rock band named Three Days have sold millions of albums. From their previous albums One-X and Three Days Grace. In September 22, 2009 their newest album was released with the title Life Starts Now.

Recorded in The Warehouse Studio, Vancouver British Columbia, and Los Angeles with producers Howard Benson who they have worked with thwm before. Critics as well as band members have noted the album's departure from the angry tone of the band's previous releases into a lyrical style that comes off as more optimistic.[25] According to guitarist Barry Stock, the album's theme centers around "a new sense of freshness" and the idea that "you don't have to be stuck in whatever it is you're dealing with. Whether it's good or bad, it's your choice to make a change.


Life Starts Now debuted at number three on the Billboard 200, Three Days Grace's highest chart position, and sold 79,000 copies in its first week. The album was met with mixed reviews. Ben Rayner of the Toronto Star gave the album a negative review, saying it possesses "no sound of its own, just a shallow range between Nickelback and Linkin Park". According to Allmusic reviewer James Christopher Monger, who gave the album three out of five stars, Life Stars Now continues the theme of One-X, Gontier's personal demons, but with a "hint of sunlight". He compliments the album, saying it "treats the well-worn metal themes of anger, isolation, heartache, and redemption with the kind of begrudging respect they deserve, pumping out a competent flurry of fist-bump anthems and world-weary, midtempo rockers".

Well hey you bookworms! I just finished a really good book that all you teenagers out there would really like. Its called "Deadly Little Secret".

Its a very interesting story line. The main character finds herself reaaly attracted to the the new mysterious guy at school. this is were it gets really complicated. this new mysterious hottie is supposedly an alleged murderer. there is very serious rumor going around school. this innocent looking hottie is accused of pushing is girlfriend of a rocky cliff. camelia, the main character in the story really dosent want to beleive those horrible rumors. One day she recieves threatning letters in her mailbox, mysterious phone calls, and disturding messages written with red lipstick on her bedroom mirrors. Can she have some sort of physco stalker? can she be in horrible danger? camelia finds herself in acircle of confusionand mistrust.
This book is a real drama. Its addicting and is a real page turner. you wont get enough of it. Look for a new book recomondation for next week! =]

They have rocket launchers, abc welder, nano riffle, and tanks. You play mission, rescue hostages, and sabotage convoy. It's rated M for Mature because sometimes they say bad words and kill people.

New York

Hello people welcome to the first ever tour segment. I will be talking about awesome places to visit if you ever visit New York City. I will also be telling you about sports related to New York, like the New York Yankees.
The first place that you have to absolutely visit is the Statue of liberty. The Statue of Liberty represents the freedom for all the people.

The first thing that you will see when you get there is the statue because it's really big. If you want to get a better view of the it you might want to go inside. My sister in law has visited New York and says "It was the best vacation I've taken so far". she says that when you get to the top of the statue you could see the whole city and it's awesome lights.
Now for all you Yankees fans I'll be talking about the team because they represent the state. The most popular team is obviously the New York Yankees. They are one of the most popular baseball teams because they're really talented. The best players on the team are Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez. In the recent games A-Rod did a home run that amazed Yankees fans everywhere and got Angels fans mad. In my opinion I say that the home run won the game for the Yankees. I'm a Dodgers fan so i wasn't that impressed, but i have to admit it was pretty good. Other than the Yankees there are the New York Giants and the New York Mets. Both the teams are really good but people know the Yankees more because they have gotten to the World Series a lot of times.

So for all of you guys that have always wanted to go to New York all i have to say is GO FOR IT!!!! I know that you'll absolutely love it.

The Guitar Hero Series has inspired many fans with rock music like, alternative, punk, metal, and soft rock. Now with the turning point on pop music comes Band Hero (and yes it's part of the Guitar Hero Series.) We will take you on a sneak peak with ratings and see if this game is worth buying.

Vocabulary Word of the Week: Pejorist and Meliorist

Pejorist means: (real word)
one who thinks that the world is getting worse which is almost like being pessimistic.

Meliorist means: (real word)
the doctrine that the world tends to become better or may be made better by human effort which is almost like being optimistic.


These words are the opposite from each other.


Melijorist means: (made-up word)
a mixture of both Pejorist and Meliorist. If you think that the world is getting worse but you're also trying to make it better with human efforts.


Casey Mascorro: I am a Melijorist because I do believe that the world is polluted and people around the world are trying to fix it with human effort.
Socorro Torres: I am a Melijorist because I do believe that the Earth is getting worse and worse but I am trying to help it by walking to school instead of going in a car and by recycling.

Breast Cancer

Since so many people get cancer, I have chosen to learn more about breast cancer. I chose this type of cancer because I wanted more females and in some cases males to be aware of the fact that a lot of people suffer through this cancer. I want people to be healthy and take care of themselves to help prevent beast cancer. Cancer is deadly and can ruin many people’s life.

The cancer I have chosen is breast cancer. People get beast cancer because it can be an inherited gene. DNA changed when passed down from a parent can increase the risk for developing beast cancer. Certain genes such as BRCA are tumor suppressor. When the genes are mutated they no longer grow at a normal paste and breast cancer is most likely to occur. Hormones seem to be in most cases in breast cancer although doctors don’t quite know yet why. One of the risks to getting beast cancer is exposing skin to strong sunlight. Some of the symptoms of breast cancer include swelling of all or part of a breast, skin irritation or dimpling, breast or nipple pain, redness or thickening of the nipple or breast skin, a discharge other than breast milk, and the most common symptom a lump or mass. The available treatment for this cancer is local treatment which is used to treat a tumor without affecting the rest of the body. Some examples of local treatment include surgery and radiation. Some females have surgery where only a part of the beast is removed; it all depends on the size and place of the tumor. There are many types of surgery to treat breast cancer but they all are performed in different ways. Females are the most affected by breast cancer. The chance of developing breast cancer in a females life is a little less than one in eight (12%).In addition about 40,170 women will die from it and there are over 2.5 million survivors.

Through out all my reasearch the most surprising thing that i learned was the fact that males can also get breast cancer.

Odd Animal of The Week

Swimming in to this odd animal of the week is the platypus. Its this week odd animal because it looks like a combination of different species of animals. It has the bill of a duck, the body of a mole, and has a venomous spine on one of its foot. It also has a tail that looks like the ones beavers have. The platypus even lays eggs like a bird. There was a time when Western explorers brought the platypus back to Europe. Nobody believed it was a real animal at all. They were so surprized at this bizarre animal that they decided too disect it. The naturalists who disected this animal expected too find stiches because they thougt that a crazy person did this bizarre animal. The naturalists were confused at first too see this strange animal. This stange animal can be found in Australia including Tasmania. The platypus started to be hunted in the 20th century for its fur but is now protected.

Degrassi

Degrassi a show about kids that are very different in many ways.The kids have problems like drug usage, pregnancy, peer pressure, murders, cancer,school, homosexuality,sports, injuries, racism, mourning, etc.A teacher at La academy says that no kid under 7th grade should watch this show.Degrassi has mature topics that parentsshould discuss with their kids and things that children shouldn't try.The students have mishaps at Degrassi high school and they try and fit in to different social classes. Degrassi is a very interesting show because it's informing teens on what to avoid in high school. If it does happen how to cope with those problems. The old characters are Paige, Liberty, Spinner, Manny, Emma, J.T., Alex, Hazel, Jimmy, Toby, Derek, Jay, Ashley, Craig, Terri, Elli, Danny, Marco, Sean, Mia, Damian. The new characters from the new season are Jane, Blue, Declane, Fiona, Connor, Leia, Kelly, Alli, Sav, Johnny, Clare, Darcy, Anya, Bruce, Connor, K.C., Jenny, & Dave. These are all the character that go through peer pressure and how they survive the social stress and deaths. There is an episode where 1 of the characters gets pregnant and have to figure out what to do when she has a child. And Mia another another character has a child and she has to deal with the father not being there most of the time and he's the brother of 1 of her friends. In the new series of Degrassi the friend of Mia who's brother is the father of Mia's child if having a problem of her own when her father returns and she begins to have flashbacks of her child hood and question her relationship she had with her dad. Spinner has found out he has cancer and figures out how he's gonna deal with it. Much more problems happen through out this series in which teen have social and family issues and how they sort this out in school among their classmates. The students at Degrassi high are very entertaining on some episodes. A brand new episode came out on Saturday when Alli goes out with Johnny and he doesn't want to show PDA and she refuses and so to make sure he agrees with her sends pictures of herself but you will have to watch it to see what kind of pictures. Then Johnny gets made and sends the pictures to everyone in school.

Many know about the great white shark, one of the most dangerous fish predators we know that can be as viscous as it's ancestors.What we don't know is that an even greater creature might still lurks the ocean,the most feared creatures thought to be extinct IS STILL ALIVE!!! for a weird reason.A few weeks ago someone claimed to have found a fresh megalodon tooth.It came from a live megalodon near a beach.I heard this from an unknown website.The search still continues,although this doesn't persuade most people it might be amazing if we find a megalodon corpse or if we capture one.As you can see the mouths of these two sharks is too big to be a great white shark.Fact,95% of our oceans is unexplored.

Congratulations!!!!

Congratulations to all of the track C 8Th graders who received awards.Awards were given today for most outstanding student, most improved student, Academic Excellence and Academic Improvement. There were also awards for Principlals honor roll, counselor's honor roll, Perfect Attendance and even a special library award for any C track 8Th graders that have read 300,000 words or 8 books. Great job! C-track 8Th graders who didn't receive awards, i would just like to say, keep working hard so that next semester you'll get awards too.

IT THE CLOWN

If you are scared of clowns I would feel the same way because of the movie IT!!!!!!!! It is a movie full of horror and creepiness if you saw this movie you would never never ever go in the shower alone and the circus.If you haven't seen it you are one of the lucky ones.The reason it has freaked people everywhere is because its about an evil clown who eats children. The movie is about IT going after five VERY unlucky children.So, when IT can't get them he kills a bully and some how brings him back to life and to make sure that the bully gets them he says the scariest thing I will ever hear. He says "KILL THEM ALL ONE BY ONE!"but the teenager that he tried to kill saw IT's face on the full moon. To really know what I'm talking about you have to see the movie , but if you don't we can show you some pictures. He can kill the kids ar give them the scare of the lifetime by maybe popping out of a drain when your taking a shower. If you have a long fear/hatred of clowns I understand and never ever for ever watch this movie. I hoped you liked this article and never watch the movie.

Do We Really Need to Paint our School?

Do we really need to paint our school? Have you ever thought how it affects us, the students? How does it affect all of us staffs and teachers? Think about it. Well to us students it affects us very much physically, because they have altered the routes to our classes causing us to be behind schedule and start our classes late. Many teachers also have complained about our tardiness and apparently its not our fault.

Mr.D’Lugo comments to us that this has causes him to walk more and he hopes that they will finish before he comes back on track. He states that more students are being late and using that route changes as an excuse therefore teachers can’t punish as necessary.

Some teachers for their conditions can’t be walking down and up the stairs as much as they have to now, cause the elevator is not available

Mr.Pascascio, “I have more seventh and eighth graders passing by sixth graders causing more trouble.” “It’s also a pain to have to walk around the building if I have to go to the office or the library.” “I feel more tired at the end of the day than usual.”

Cindy Molina states that the painting of the school is affecting her because she gets tired of walking a lot. Cindy states that the painting isn’t affecting her but it does make her tired by the end of the day.

A little bit of History
Halloween is a holiday to scare away the spirits. People say that the spirits and ghost come out and roam the world in October the 30th. Halloween started about 6,000 years ago but,other think that Halloween was not that old. Some think that Halloween is mostly a harvest not to scare. Halloween was started by the Celts. The Celts who know live in Ireland. They celebrated a new year on November 1 which they called the end of summer. The celebration is called Samhain to protect their crops during a cold winter. In this celebration they put on costumes,burned crops, animals and told fortunes.
Around the year 800 Christianity has spread in the Celtic land and a man named Pope Boniface IV named November 1 "All Saint day " It was a honor to celebrate all the people who died because of their beliefs. The celebration was also called "All Hallows eve" or "All-hallow mas". Pupils call that night "All Hallows Eve." which then became Halloween. You may ask why did people start trick or treating. Well trick or treating actually started because, long ago in this celebration the kids needed to go beg for drinks,food and, money. They called this "going-a-souling." Also, why do we dress up? Well back then the dressed up because dressing up in Halloween costumes also has European origins in it. Hundreds of years ago, people believed that ghosts roamed the streets on Halloween night, so they wore masks when they left home to fool ghosts into thinking they were other spirits. So they were like tricking the ghost to not make any harm and to go away.

Little kids and even teens and parents dress up but, this time just for fun. During the night they go to Halloween parties and have fun. In those parties they play games like scary stories,printable games, apple bobbling, and the regular games. The refreshments and food the party makers make them all weird and disgusting supposedly blood and noodles brains and fish-sticks fingers. Also they make haunted houses to scare the kids. Or the families decorate and sometimes just stay at home.

Many people in the world have tried to know how many licks does it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop. Sometimes people will give up counting and start bitting it. If you want to know just keep on reading and we will tell you the answer.

Well it depends on variety of factors such as the size of your mouth, the amount of saliva,etc. Basically, THE WORLD MAY NEVER KNOW!! What's pretty funny about it is that Since 1970,they haved received more than 20,000 letters from children around the world who believed they have solved the mystery behind how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop. Estimates from children seem to run from a low of 100 licks to a high of 5,800 licks, who most of them with raging from 600 to 800 licks. The tootsie company were just asking that question to make fun of I guess .I bet the company haved said,"hahahaha they'll never find out! there's no answer!" And those advertisements they'ed made is to get all of us excited for nothing!

Why Was Christopher Columbus Important..?

The age of exploration was about a time period where people wanted to explore the world and try to discover new lands so they could own and have for themselves. Christopher Columbus changed and made American history. It was very important because it caused a lot of changes. His accomplishment is still talked about today.
Christopher Columbus was born in 1451 and died in 1506. Christopher Columbus sailed west across the Atlantic ocean, he was looking for a shorter trail route but instead he landed in the Indies (Frey 375). That mistake made a huge difference it caused people to get the wrong ideas and people actually believed that he had reached Asia . Through out the journey, voyagers wanted to turn back, give up, and go home. Columbus tried to pressure people in to continuing and not give up. Ferdinand and Isabella sponsored the voyages of Columbus, in their minds if Columbus found land it belonged to them instead of Columbus and he didn’t know that(Fray 380) . Ferdinand and Isabella were glad and exited with the results of Columbus accomplishment and sent him to three more voyages. Columbus found no proof that the land was Asia, so they soon lost patience in him. When Columbus kept going on with his journeys people soon figured out that the land was unknown for them and that it was land that they wouldn't have expected to be there(Carnine 514).
The fact that Christopher Columbus found land was a huge accomplishment. “Columbus led to the establishment of contact between Europe and the Americans where trade took place”(Lopes).This was one of the main accomplishments, it changed what people ate, what they wore, their resources, their customs, and how things happened in every day life for example, when something happened . Some of the items that were traded include corn, cassava, cayenne, chocolate, hot peppers, peanuts, potatoes, tomatoes, cattle, goats, horses, pigs , sheep, wheat, and many more(Lopez). Because of the trading routes from Europe, people were introduced to new foods and animals.
Another main reason is that “Explorers saw the chance to earn fame and glory as well as wealth, some craved adventure. And as new lands were discovered, nations wanted to claim the lands riches for themselves…”(Frey 376).Explorers wanted the lands for themselves, for wealth, and they didn’t want to risk other people finding the land they wanted so much. People were motivated to sail on a boat on there way so they could be in the search of lands not claimed.
“A final motive for exploration was the desire to spread Christianity”(Frey 376). People were also interested in finding and discovering land because they wanted to spread there religion so more people can be Christians and spread their customs and certain other things that happened in that religion.
In conclusion, Christopher Columbus changed world history. Columbus accomplished many things but one of the most important ones was the fact of introducing trade, which was useful and probably the most significant. Trading today with in each other is still useful.

Guns N' Roses is an american rock band that was formed in Los Angeles, California in 1985. The band is lead by the co-founder Axle Rose. Axle has gone through numerouse line-up charges and contraversies. The band released 6 studio albums, 3 EPs and a livfe album. THe band has sold about 100 million copies world wide, over 43 million in the United Staes. The bands major debut album Appetite for Destruction, has sold over 28 million copies, and reached number 1 on the United Staes Billboard 200. If you have noticed, the school is being painted right between the place we pass for are classes. Is it affecting you?..because i know its affecting me! Its making us go all the way around if we are in the 3000,2000,and 4000...1000 your fine, don't worry.
Its making us go tardy to class, making us walk a very long way, and its basically affecting us. We personally think that the painting is taking along time. Its making innocent people get in unfair trouble. teachers may think we are lagging it but the truth is we really try to get to class on time. we think that the principle should give us more time to get to class because its very frustrating and we really do try our best to get to class but we still get late.The smell is toxic and it effects are lungs and body, and it just plain stinks like paint. Not only that, but some students have become very messy around the area you can find all sorts of trash,books, paper,chips bags. We hope that the painting will finish soon so that we could go back to a regular day again.
On the other hand some people may wonder how the school may look after the painting is done. so there are some positive and negatives about the process. i know it may be frustrating at times but we need to be patient. Because you have to think that the school will look better and it will probably make students like the school more.

SO i was bored on a Saturday night and i was on google google-ing the schools in California after i remembered some assignments i had done in the 7Th grade. I found this website that showed school all around the United States, i was looking at all the schools and the i thought " hey why don't I look for my school", i typed in our schools name and found it. But i was shocked to know that out schools rating on that website was a 2 out of 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??!!!!!. I was so shocked!!!! :0000.LOL So I kept on looking at the page and read some of the comments in the place and there were some pretty bad comment such as this one " As a parent I feel that LA Academy lacks many of the fundamentals my child needs to succeed, and make it in life. The Principal is unfriendly, and the faculty is rude, no one seems to be able to assist me, or answer my questions, when I present my self, as a parent I would think I would be considered more."Submitted by a parent.wow! and also according to this website on the research made by API research there was said that the school was also rated a 1 by the statewide rank. Om*G. so kids, teachers, parents and other staff members, take this in a very omg way because its kinda funny and then its kinda' "no way i can't believe it" so i guess our school is in a way very, OK according to this website, it is saying that LAAMS is A very bad school wit very low CST grades and Bad recommendations

Green Day is an American rock trio formed in 1987. The band has consisted of Billie Joe Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Mike Dirnt (bass guitar, vocals), and Tré Cool (drums, percussion) for the majority of its existence.

Green Day was originally part of the punk rock scene at 924 Gilman Street in Berkeley, California. Its early releases for independent record label Lookout! Records earned them a grassroots fanbase, some of whom felt alienated when the band signed to a major label. Nevertheless, its major label debut Dookie (1994) became a breakout success and eventually sold over 10 million copies in the U.S. and 15 million worldwide. As a result, Green Day was widely credited, alongside fellow California punk bands The Offspring and Rancid, with reviving mainstream interest in and popularizing punk rock in the United States.
